Shaheer Shafiq
I am a Clinical Product Owner at Metrics Research in Islamabad, working across clinical data management, product management and programme governance.
At OIRRC, my work combined clinical research, data and project management. At Hekma, I worked across clinical research and product management. That experience informs how I connect research workflows, software delivery and programme priorities today.
My product work spans EDC, CTMS, IWRS, eTMF and a complete CTU management system. I have participated as an auditee in tens of computer system validation audits.
My work spans requirements, roadmap decisions, sprint planning and user acceptance testing. I also work on clinical data standards, research datasets and quality processes.
As a clinical data manager, I work across data management plans, CRF design, data cleaning, transfers and system training. My clinical research experience also includes working with REDCap.
My research background includes an MS in Industrial Biotechnology from NUST and three published papers on drug delivery and diagnostic imaging.

First author on oral insulin delivery research and co-author on studies of docetaxel liposomes and phase-convertible nanodroplets for ultrasound imaging.
