Clinical data management
From protocol to a dependable dataset
I work across study setup, data collection, review and closeout. My experience combines hands-on data management with the system knowledge needed to support clinical teams.
Study planning and documentation
I plan data management activities across multiple trials, develop data management plans and contribute to SOPs. I connect the study protocol to practical collection and review processes, with clear guidance for the people using them.
Multilingual REDCap studies and registries
I build studies, registries and eCRFs in REDCap, including multilingual data collection. This connects protocol requirements with structured forms and practical study workflows.
Stata and R
I work with Stata and R for research data analysis, alongside database setup, cleaning and review.
CRF and eSource design
I translate protocols and schedules of assessments into CRFs, eCRFs and eSource workflows. My work includes visit schedules, branching logic, edit checks, ranges and CRF completion instructions.
Data cleaning and review
I work on data collection, database setup, cleaning and analysis. My experience includes source data verification, accuracy audits and review against study protocols, with attention to completeness and consistency.
System QC and UAT
I have carried out post-build quality checks and user acceptance testing for eSource and CTMS workflows, including lock and unlock behaviour, versioning and amendment rollouts. I also supported my team in computer system validation.
Data transfers and reporting
I have managed data transfer agreements and collaborated on extraction, transformation and loading processes. I support reports and dashboards that help teams interpret study information and identify issues for follow-up.
Training and operational support
I train users on EDC, CTMS and learning management systems, provide technical support and coordinate system improvements with developers. My work also includes access settings, backup and recovery strategies and ongoing system maintenance.
Research and scientific communication
My background includes laboratory research, manuscript writing, systematic reviews and meta-analysis work. I bring this research perspective to data management: a field needs to be both correctly recorded and meaningful for the question being studied.
Quality through the study lifecycle
My experience includes data management planning, pre-database-lock activities and vendor audit work. These connect day-to-day data review with documented study expectations.
